Visitors to our website
When someone visits www.opportunus.co, we use a third-party service (Google Analytics) to collect anonymous information about how visitors interact with our site, such as the number of visitors to various pages on the site. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Where we do collect personally identifiable information through our website (e.g. on contact forms), we will be up front and clear about what personal information we are collecting and what we intend to do with it.
People who subscribe to marketing
We would like to send you marketing news and insights, as well as information relating to our services which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing communications, you may opt out at a later date by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of any of our marketing emails. Your information will be held for two years before we contact you to obtain consent for continued communications.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our marketing emails. In addition, we may promote content and services to you whilst using third-party platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
People who contact us via social media
We manage all social media in-house, we do not use any third-party providers. If you send us a private or direct message via social media, the message will be handled by one of our team. It will not be shared with any other organisations.
People who email us
We monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.
People who use our services
If you have discussed, requested or used our services, we will hold your personal information in order to provide the service requested and to fulfil our contract, as well as for closely related purposes that we believe would be of legitimate interest to you and to Opportunus.
If, in the course of carrying out a service, you send us personal / sensitive information (e.g. customer data), the upmost care will be taken while executing our duties as a data processor. All data is held on encrypted storage, devices and email servers, access will be restricted to only those that need it, and sensitive information will be deleted once it is no longer required.
We may choose to send you marketing emails that are closely related to the services that you receive and / or have enquired about. We use a third-party provider (MailChimp) to facilitate this.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you (known as a “subject access request”). We want to make sure that your information is always up-to-date and accurate. You may ask us to update or remove any information that may be inaccurate.
